PREPARATION

Before You Start Bidding

Before placing a bid, there are a few things to understand.

Authorization Hold

To join an auction, a temporary authorisation hold equal to 10% of the starting bid will be placed on your credit card.

This helps confirm that bidders have a genuine interest in taking part in the auction and discourages non-serious bidding.

temporary hold

The hold is not a charge.

No payment required if you do not win

If you do not win the auction, the authorisation hold will be released automatically.

  • Automatic Release
  • No Charge

If you win the auction

At the end of the auction, the highest bid wins the watch.

  • If you win, you will pay your winning bid together with the Buyer's Premium, which is 10% of the winning bid.
  • The authorisation hold will be used as the first part of your Buyer's Premium payment.
  • After payment is completed, the watch will go through a final check before collection or shipping.
  • Bid only when the watch feels right for you.
