IWC Launches First Purple-Dial Pilot's Watch for PETRONAS

IWC has introduced the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team ahead of the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix.

Reference IW388121 pairs a 41mm Grade 5 titanium case with a deep purple dial and matching rubber strap. PETRONAS green appears on the numerals, indices and luminous hands.

Inspired by Singapore's Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid, the purple colour carries from the dial to the strap. Inside, IWC's calibre 69385 provides a column-wheel chronograph and 46 hours of power reserve.

It is the fourth official IWC watch created for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team since 2022.

What We Noticed

Purple appears on an IWC Pilot's Watch dial for the first time here. The deep colour continues onto the rubber strap, while the PETRONAS-green markings and luminous hands cut across the dial against the brushed titanium case.
