IWC has launched the Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume, featuring a luminous ceramic case, dial, and strap that glow blue in the dark.

IWC Schaffhausen has introduced the Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026.

Limited to 250 pieces, the watch combines IWC's Ceralume luminous ceramic technology with its perpetual calendar complication. The white ceramic case, white dial, and white rubber strap are all infused with luminous material, creating a watch that glows in the dark.

The release marks the first production use of Ceralume following its earlier appearance as a concept watch. The Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume is powered by the IWC-manufactured 52616 calibre, which offers a seven-day power reserve.

What We Noticed

What stays with us is how much of the watch glows.

During the day, it looks like a white Big Pilot's Watch, with different shades of white and grey across the case, dial, and strap. In the dark, the watch takes on a completely different appearance. The case, dial, and rubber strap glow blue, while the hands and numerals appear as dark shapes against the luminous dial.
