IWC Introduces the Perpetual Calendar IWC-ProSet at Watches and Wonders 2026
IWC has unveiled the Perpetual Calendar IWC-ProSet, a new system that allows the calendar to be adjusted forward and backwards through the crown.
IWC Schaffhausen has introduced the Perpetual Calendar IWC-ProSet at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026.
The new perpetual calendar system debuts in three Big Pilot's Watch models and features a completely redesigned calendar architecture. For the first time, the calendar can be adjusted forward and backwards through the crown using a fully synchronised gear-based mechanism.
The system is integrated into the IWC-manufactured 82665 calibre and also features a moon phase display that deviates by just one day after 1,040 years.
The Perpetual Calendar IWC-ProSet is available in stainless steel, white ceramic, and 18-carat 5N gold.
What We Noticed
What stays with us is the image of turning the crown backwards and watching a perpetual calendar move backwards with it.
The display looks familiar at first glance. Four subdials, a moon phase display, and IWC's four-digit year indication remain in place. Beneath that familiar layout is a completely new mechanism that allows the calendar to move in either direction without extra pushers or complicated setting procedures.
